Savvy beyond her years, Ms. Bloom established herself as a social media guru before the rest of the curve knew how to hold an iPhone.
Fiona Hailed from the UK a self made starlet debuting as a Steinway Award winning classical pianist while still in her teens, and soon after traveled across the pond riding the coattails of two prestigious scholarships to Universities in the US.
She has a solid background as a popular urban music radio host, publicist, label owner, manager, and has maintained her legacy of having the energy and tenacity to position and launch careers, products, and companies like a true champion.
Her effervescent charm is a perfect pairing with the laser precision of her shrewd and seamless marketing skill. She keeps her passions alive by always keeping heart and schedule open to social-minded events that support world culture. Her genuine passion for life, and love for people and world community is actually the magic behind her rigorous work ethic, and the alchemy behind her “Bloom Effect.”
Fiona enjoys lecturing around the globe, and has worked with such clients as NYU Tisch School of the Arts, J. Walter Thompson, The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, SAE Institute -NYC, SXSW- Austin, CMJ, Canadian Music Week- Toronto, Billboard Conference, Polar Music Prize-Stockholm Sweden, Dewey Beach Music Fest. Maryland, Grammy’s in the School, NARIP and others.
She was voted by Billboard Biz as the top 140 Characters to follow in the Music Industry, a winner of NARIPS’s Top Strategist in 2009, and was a Nominee in Women in Music/Billboard.
Fiona has independently produced over 1000 shows, consulted on 200+ album projects and has been a part of over 300 artists’ careers.
Besides having her own Label and Imprint under her belt, She has held three prestigious executive positions, two at major labels, and another at a large flourishing independent label.
Currently, she runs a boutique agency called The Bloom Effect specializing in Entertainment Marketing/Branding.
The Bloom Effect
Daniel Dissinger is a New York born poet who is currently a second-year Doctoral student at Saint John’s University, where he teaches American Literature as part of his Doctoral Fellowship. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the English Department at SUNY College at Old Westbury in New York, where he teaches a wide variety of literature and writing courses, and the creator and Editor of InStereoPress.com, an online audio zine. Since 2012, he has been working as the Chief Operating Officer/faculty member with the startup school Poetry Teachers NYC, and is performing in their ongoing readings. In 2008, Daniel graduated with an M.F.A in Writing and Poetics from The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, where he studied under Bhanu Kapil, Elizabeth Robinson, Will Alexander, Peter Gizzi, and other active writers. Daniel’s poetry has been published in journals such as Monkey Puzzle Magazine, 580 Split (online), the first issue of Trunk of Delirium, and most recently in and/or V2. This February, he is featured as the “Centre Stage Poet” in England’s Decanto Magazine. His first chapbook, tracing the shape…, was published by Shadow Mountain Press in 2012.
Megan DiBello Founded Poetry Teachers NYC in 2010. She holds a M.F.A from Naropa University, in Writing & Poetics and a B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College. Megan is also a Literacy Partners Volunteer Tutor. She has been published in Fact-Similie, Flanour Foundry, The Bathroom, & Monkey Puzzle Press. Her first hybrid book is entitled, Voyeur Without A Title.
